I am the father of triplet boys Michael, Ethan & Eoin who are 10 years old.
Unfortunately my marriage broke down after 7 years in August 2014. Since this time I have had four years’ experience of the family courts in Ireland. I will share my experiences over the last four years to try and help any other father (Or Parent) have a more positive experience than myself.
Since I have been separated my ex-wife has done everything within her power to remove my access to our children. This is referred to as Parental Alienation and constitutes a form of child abuse.
Unfortunately parental alienation is a serious issue but isn't generally recognised by Courts or Solicitors in Ireland.
I am a 43 Year old professional employed with a full time permeant job and I am actively involved in the local community.
Over the past 4 years I have been falsely accused of the following on many occasions without any proof or evidence but becomes fact when discussed in court.
2) Gambling Addiction
3) Drug Addiction
Safety, protection and barring orders have been filed against me. All based on lies, exaggerations and false statements provided to Garda, solicitors and judges. Unfortunately in court no evidence is required to be presented to a judge for these to be issued. Then again no evidence needs to be provided to the court for them to be upheld other than a statement by the person requesting one.
